Scary Reddit Stories – Best of r/nosleep, r/letsnotmeet and r/unsolvedmysteries
I love a good scary story, and there’s no better collection of them than on reddit. This is the best of r/nosleep, r/letsnotmeet and r/unresolvedmysteries- in that order. While this is a good jumping off point for scary Reddit stories, I highly recommend browsing these subs individually, and sorting by top post by month or year.
I like to start with r/nosleep because, as a friendly reminder, these ones aren’t real.The peace of mind you feel in browsing through these, knowing they’re fictional, dissipates by the time you hit r/letsnotmeet. These ones are real- real people, real creepy encounters (but they lived to tell the tale).
Last (while in storytelling they might be), but certainly not least, we have r/unresolvedmysteries. What charm these stories may lack (given that they’re factual accounts and not fictional narratives) they make up for in fear. These are stories of missing people, unidentified bodies, things and people vanishing without a trace- the real horror stories of this world, imo.
