Wedding Looks and Details

We did a large, traditional wedding and a smaller, more intimate city hall ceremony- and while both had similar vibes, there were distinct differences between the looks and 3 wedding dresses total!

Main Wedding Dress

I wanted something form fitted, lace, embroidered and unique. I tried on probably between 15-20 wedding dresses, and fell in love with the Harlow dress from Made With Love. While I loved certain elements of the dress, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it in retrospect after wearing it for the day. It was quite heavy and uncomfortable, and I couldn’t wait to get into my second look dress! I wore the matching Harlow veil and loved it.

Second Look

I ended up changing into my second look dress after dinner and had it on for the cake cutting, father daughter dance and newly wed toast. I wanted to make sure I had a good amount of photos in it as well, and actually did a second little entrance into the wedding with my maid of honour (who also changed into a shorter dress), which I highly recommend! It was a cute moment and we got some great photos from it.

I can’t speak highly enough about the La Lune dress from Shona Joy. It was beautiful and so comfortable!
