Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss
I started using this Dior lip plumper after I developed a complete immunity to the Buxom Full On lipgloss. I was obsessed with them because of the colour selection, so I was pretty bummed when after just a few months, I no longer felt any tingling from the gloss. The girl who sold this to me told me to apply it before my lipstick… Don’t. I’t’s gross, and definitely isn’t a good base for your lipstick. I’ve had it for probably close to a year now, and still feel the tingling every time. I think it looks best with just a nude or soft pink lipliner, and while I don’t know about the actual alleged long-term plumping affects, it’s a great lipgloss!
MAC Satin Lipstick
This is my favourite lipstick, because as far as lipsticks go, it’s as good as it’s going to get. At a fair price point. Let’s be honest, unless it’s a matte liquid, no lipstick is going to last for a crazy amount of time. You’re going to have to reapply. Given the amount of dry, flakey, dehydrating, plastic-y lipsticks I’ve tried, this one is great. It lasts for the expected amount of time, it’s creamy in consistency, there’s tons of colours (this one is my go to) and it doesn’t bleed. Out of all the finishes, the satin is definitely my favourite in MAC lipsticks.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
Hourglass makes my favourite primers because they’re thick (but spreadable), they make you look poreless, they make you glow and they’re the perfect base for your foundation. I’ve used several over the years, and they’re honestly all good. This is the one I used last time and loved! They’re pricey, especially for a primer, but because it’s a primer, it lasts forever. This also isn’t the primer you would use for a natural, everyday face. Save it for nights out, or long days with a full face!
